Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Anxiety (GAD)
"I first met Lindsey in early Spring 2017. A chance meeting from a Facebook post that popped up in my newsfeed.
At this time I had been struggling with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and GAD for 12 months and was at rock bottom. My life consisted of moving from bed to sofa to bed again & I was anxious about everything.
Lindsey was a breath of fresh air from day one. She taught me how to completely change my perspective and gave me hope.
With her knowledge, techniques and support I have gradually changed my life. I have gone from 30 seconds outdoors to walking 2 - 3k each day, seeing friends & even riding my bike. I have learnt how to control my anxiety instead of it controlling me, how to pace and make the most of my energy.
I'm not sure if I could have got this far on my journey without Lindsey's infectious positivity and extensive knowledge. Thank you 🥰"
Wrist Pain and Anxiety
"I came across Lindsey at a difficult time, where I was struggling with strong anxiety and struggling to get over a climbing injury, which I suspected was TMS related.
Lindsey immediately put me at ease and on the right track. She is a wealth of knowledge on TMS and provided patient guidance and support throughout. She also reminded me of the importance of continual self-care rather than just responding when something manifests as a problem.
I highly recommend Lindsey to anyone suffering with anxiety or pain."
Low Back Pain, Herniated disc, Sciatica
"My back pain wasn't always bad but since I was young it was somehow always there.
Recently, in the second week of lockdown, for the second time in my life I had an episode that was so overwhelming that I couldn't walk - my partner had to support me when getting up and I was moving from the bed to the sofa at most.
I found 'Chiron's Chronic Pain Release' online after actively searching for someone to help me along my journey which has started with one of Dr. Sarno's Books.
From that I found the Curable app which has given me a pool of information I submerged myself into as well as the belief that I can get better. But it made me realise that even though I tried, I wouldn't get far without help. I found Lindsey and I felt very comfortable communicating with her - and her online therapy suited the lockdown situation perfectly.
Lindsey helped me get to the source of my issue, my constant aspiration to be the best, successful and independent in everything I do - so as not to be judged by anyone.
By working on those patterns and equipping me with tools and exercises I managed to see myself free of anxieties, tensions and back pain for the first time in a very long time!
I have learnt that I can now deal with signals that usually would have lead me to fear of another episode. I know my body better and I can guide my subconscious mind not to follow old patterns.
It's hard work but it's very rewarding!
I now see myself as the person who USED to have chronic back pain."
Fibromyalgia and Back Pain
"Lindsey I can't thank you enough, you have made these last few weeks amazing, I've managed to actually get on with my life for the first time in 6 years ... The work you do is truly amazing xxx"
CFS/ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), Abdominal pain, anxiety, insomnia, head aches, depression
"When I met Lindsey I was in need of some help, counselling, guidance, call it what you will, all I knew was that I needed help.
I'm not a fanatic of pharmaceuticals and instead believe in the more spiritual, organic approach and Lindsey fits those requirements beautifully. Lindsey uses methods to suit the ailment, and is so willing to help she will come up with different methods to adapt to the situation.
I have had ME for 29 years which to a large extent have learnt to live with, however, stress managed to creep its way into my life which resulted in other symptoms flaring up which I find harder to deal with such as a severe pressure bladder/stomach discomfort.
I've had the latter symptoms for 11 years now and I have found great relief following Lindsey's visits. In fact, it is true to say I am walking on cloud nine by the time Lindsey leaves.
Lindsey gets you to look at things in a different way, gets you to look at yourself in a different way both of which personally helped me to cope with additional symptoms such as depression and anxiety. Lindsey gives you many methods to try out and I recommend you try them and do what suits you. It's not a one-way street you have to put in the effort but it's worth it.
Lindsey goes that extra mile and really comes across as a caring individual. In finishing, yes, Lindsey does make a positive difference. To that end I cannot recommend Lindsey high enough."
"After an injury 8 months ago I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Every day tasks were impossible, doing hair, getting dressed and even hugging my children.
I was becoming increasingly frightened and overwhelmed with the pain and the fear of being like this for years.
After Lindsey's help all the fear and pain have gone. My range of movement is massively improved but more importantly I have myself back. I feel happy and optimistic for the first time in such a long time.
I honestly cannot recommend Lindsey enough for anyone stuck in the cycle of chronic pain and will be forever grateful ❤️"
4 weeks after treatment...
"So grateful that you have helped me. Four weeks ago , the only thing I could see was how much pain I was in.
Yesterday I did a spinning class!!!
I have my future back
Ankylosing Spondylitis and Chronic Knee Pain
Ollie was barely able to walk a few meters using crutches when I first met him. He was experiencing unrelenting pain in his back and knee following injury 8 years ago whilst on tour with the Army. He had already undergone several months of rehab and treatments before being forced to retire from service.
His pain continued, despite surgery to reduce the pain experienced in his knee. He had difficulty finding a comfortable position to sit and the pain medication he was prescribed tended to knock him out anyway so he spent most of his time in bed. As a young, adventure-loving man with all his life ahead of him, the future was looking bleak.
Ollie worked with me, learning tehniques to reduce his pain levels. His back and knee pain were quickly and significantly reduced - so much so that Ollie felt able to attempt a 2 mile walk! This proved to be pushing things a bit too far, too fast! He then agreed to slow it down a bit, did more work and was able to remove the pain from his back and knee completely. What a great result!
"I served in Afghanistan and Iraq where I was injured. Following recent surgery I underwent this pain treatment and there is definitely some thing to this way of thinking and treatment.
It has helped me manage my pain and get my mind and body working in conjunction. I was struggling to walk and using a stick, following this treatment I am able to walk a little further as my pain levels have been significantly reduced.
I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for an alternative to treating and managing pain!"
Lupus, Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue, Migraines, Insomnia, Anxiety, Recurrent Infections, Cognitive Impairment
When I first met Virginia she was anxious, tearful, had extremely low self esteem and was struggling to cope with daily life. Even making a cup of tea could be too much for her most days. Her life had been taken over by the fatigue and pain she experienced constantly, but was further impacted by recurrent infections, insomnia, reduced mobility and increasingly poor concentration and memory. As a woman who was intelligent and had been extremely independent, these symptoms were devastating. Over the next few month as I worked with Virginia, she slowly began to regain her confidence, was sleeping better and had much reduced anxiety. She had an energy of optimism about her, returning to activity, daily dog walks and independent outings in the local community.
"I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in 2009. I had been experiencing a range of the symptoms associated with this condition for some time. My mobility, cognition, and general health and well being were seriously compromised by these symptoms. An indescribable fatigue and recurrent crippling migraines were a constant problem. The migraines occurred up to 5 or 6 times a week and rendered me unable to function.
I had received 6 cycles of Rituximab chemotherapy taking place annually beginning in 2009...
I would say when telling professionals and concerned acquaintances that 'lupus had exiled me from my life, robbing me of a career that I loved and controlling my interactions with family and friends'. Lindsey and the therapy helped me gradually gain back control and start to enjoy life again...
My symptoms are much improved. I do still have some migraines and joint and muscle pain. However not to the point of taking over my life. The fatigue which blighted every part of my day is under control. I know how to pace myself and build in rest periods.
My rheumatologist is really positive about my improvement. My chemo has been suspended and I am on a much milder daily medication.
The strategies Lindsey has taught me I believe that I will always use. A year on, I can only thank Lindsey for guiding my journey to recovery."
Update: Virginia was in touch in a year later to report that her Rheumatologist reports her Lupus is now in remission!
Meniere's Disease, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Back Pain, Fibromyalgia, Insomnia
When I first met Rebecca she had been confined to her bed or the sofa for the last few months due to severe nausea and dizziness whenever she moved. She had been diagnosed with Meniere's Disease, an inner ear disorder of unknown cause and unknown treatment and was told it may or may not get better.
This was on top of the chronic fatigue and pain that she had suffered for 17 years since being diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in her spine and fibromyalgia. She was, understandably, very tearful, and afraid of what her future held. As a consequence, she was experiencing regular panic attacks and living her life in a state of high anxiety.
We began work slowly, pacing it in accordance to her tolerance levels. Rebecca was able to finally face, and deal with, a number of the stressors she had been keeping locked inside for many years. She began to see an improvement, first in her anxiety levels, quality of sleep and fatigue, then in her nausea and dizziness. When she reached the point where she was able to experience pain-free periods for the first time in 17 years, Rebecca decided she was now strong enough to continue her recovery alone.
I bumped into Rebecca 7 months later and was delighted to hear that she had continued to recover. She was now fully mobile, had returned to driving and was able to work again. She was relaxed, smiling and positive about the future - a wonderful result for all her hard work.
